Does it actually block apps, or just remind me?
It actually blocks them, using the same Screen Time framework Apple built for parental controls. Blocked apps are shielded by the system itself — they don't load behind a popup.
Can I still get out in an emergency?
Always. Sleepy Lion is designed to make impulsive unblocking hard, not to trap you. Every mode has a legitimate recovery path, and sessions always end on schedule.
What does it cost?
Sleepy Lion is free while in beta. When it launches, core blocking will stay accessible and pricing will be transparent — no surprise trial-to-annual charges.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere. Apple's Screen Time architecture keeps per-app usage data on your device, and Sleepy Lion doesn't collect it, sell it, or use it for ads.
Android?
iPhone first. We'd rather make one platform excellent than two platforms mediocre. Android is on the roadmap.
